1919
Foundation of the "OHG zur Fabrikation von Gold, Silber und Alpakawaren" by Wilhelm Geissel and Robert Spörr.
1920
Robert Spörr leaves the company. Wilhelm Geissel continues the young company under the name "Automatische Fasson-Dreherei Wilhelm Geissel".
1927
Development and production of wege® cable glands. The wege® M Classic gland (an acronym for company founder Wilhelm Geissel) begins its success story.
1994
Foundation of the plant in Pune, India to expand the Geissel Group's global presence.
2008
Geissel becomes 100% subsidary of Geissel GmbH and Marc Seidel joins the company as a Director
2019
100-year company anniversary, celebrating a century of excellence in manufacturing
2023
Geissel expands the business and increases the turnover by 50%
2024-25
Geissel starts catering to European and Global customers and sets-up it's own Engineering facility in India. With this addition, Geissel's turnover increases by another 50%
